Ok I'll admit it, I'm biased on this issue.

When I got married, (before I was a caterer) we made the mistake of doing it ourselves. It looked beautiful but at what price-at the price that my mother, sisters, and friends worked the whole day before, my wedding day, the entire reception, and after the wedding. As I left for my honeymoon, there was my mom, her boss, and her friends in their nice long dresses washing dishes at the sink.  That is when it hit me!  I should have either hired a caterer or settled for serving a much smaller fare.  The Moral to the Story is if you do it yourself-Do less and Enjoy More!  Otherwise, HIRE A CATERER! 

Central Arkansas is blessed with many great catering companies.  From the Big Leaguers to the little guys, I am sure you will find someone that fits your style and budget.  Every catering company varies in services and price.  In Arkansas rare is the wedding that has a sit-down plated meal.  Most brides opt for the less espensive reception buffet.  When you sit down with a caterer make sure you find out exactly what is included and what additional charges they may expect including table linens, plates, utensils, mileage charges, gratuity, etc.  Ask to see pictures (Catering Creations is pictured left) of events they have catered and also for references.  If you find a caterer who does not seem to fit your needs in price, services or in ability to fulfill your uniques needs, then look for another. Try to book as soon as possible.
